RXMOSAIC understands the science of communications and we’re comprised of passionately obsessed minds, rich data and the latest tools to invent the next generation of healthcare communications. We blend scientific communications with breakthrough creative to drive our clients’ businesses. We know what’s worked in the past isn’t necessarily what will move healthcare forward, and we believe the time to evolve is now!

We believe that science and creativity don’t just go hand and hand – they are one and the same. We believe that all progress – be it personal or clinical – starts with a thought experiment. That stone-cold data can make a heart-melting impact and that nothing is more emotional than a person’s health.

Pioneers who join us are part alchemist, part futurist, part daredevil, part humanist, part explorer and part geek…and together, we’re creating an entirely new form of communications. THE ROLE:

Supported by an integrated team of media and digital experts, you will help raise awareness of this important new technology.

The work will start with unbranded activations featuring a celebrity spokesperson to showcase the ambitions, hopes and goals of people living with schizophrenia. Later in the year, you will support data milestones and prepare for a potential regulatory approval.

You will team up with the Group Senior Vice President on these accounts and lead the larger integrated team – strategy, brand, digital, creative, project management and earned media – to develop strategies, execute tactics and meet client objectives.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Lead, drive and review materials and client deliverables, including coordinating with the integrated teams to keep projects moving forward; proactively provide updates to team leads and colleagues

  • Help lead a high-functioning integrated team; serve as a manager to select Brand team members on account; mentor colleagues
  • Work with teams and Finance to manage account budget; assign team target hours for billability and profitability, effectively managing programs and ensuring efficiency
  • Continually seek to evolve your knowledge of your specialty, client’s business and competitors, vertical industry, media landscape and emerging trends in consumer behavior

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 8-10 years of healthcare / pharma PR experience in a communications agency; oncology and/or neurology experience is a plus; 4+ years of supervisory experience and the ability to lead and manage integrated marketing work teams
  • Experience leading large, multi-prong integrated campaigns and teams across corporate visibility, disease awareness and data/regulatory communications projects

WHAT IS WORTHI?

An understanding of the role influencers and other key opinion leaders play in the PR space is critical, as is having an informed POV on the ever-changing media landscape.

There must be a willingness to get one's “hands dirty” and a natural passion and understanding of PR as a whole. This person will be a self-motivated team player who will be reliable, resourceful, open to growth, accountable, and will operate with an open, “can do'' and strategic mindset.

This role requires someone with 5-6 years of consumer brand and/or tech experience (an emphasis on multicultural audiences a plus!) with an agency or in-house team.

  • Result-oriented and client-focused with a passion for communications and public relations practice.
  • Ability to proactively communicate well both verbally and in writing with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Good problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong presenter able to “read the room” and make a case for strategic recommendations.
  • Consistent follow-through ability to traffic communication and ensure accuracy.
  • A creative point of view, a “can-do” attitude and a “what’s next” mentality.
  • Understands the social-first nature of PR and how the media landscape is continuing to evolve in the digital frontier inclusive of influencer engagement.
  • Strong experience in building thoughtful media relations strategies that go beyond block and tackle and obvious solutions.
  • Strong media relationships with lifestyle, tech multicultural outlets and journalists.
  • Creative, “big idea” person who strives for excellence.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at one time.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively provide and receive feedback.

MSL U.S.

MSL Graduate Fellowship Program

Locations: New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Seattle, Detroit, Boston, Washington, D.C.

About

MSL U.S. is excited to announce the return of its Graduate Fellowship program for Summer 2024.

The program, which launched in 2023, is specifically designed to be a summer of learning through hands-on client opportunities, exposure to the people and strategies that move our business forward and the chance to become a permanent part of the MSL Family. Our goal is to make sure this summer won’t just be the most educational experience you’ve ever had, but the first chapter in a dynamic career at a hands-on, fast-paced agency.

MSL is different. Our fellowship isn’t about taking lunch orders, it’s about taking initiative on actual client work that is steeped in cultural trends & influence. As a team and as individuals, we are always including MSL’s three values: Leading, Learning and Loving.

Leading- Leadership isn’t about titles. It’s about behavior, accountability and drive.

Learning- We believe in possibilities and embrace lifetime learners who thrive when they are stretching, building, and innovating.

Loving- Some say love doesn’t have a place at work. We wholeheartedly disagree. Loving one another and the experiences that make us different is just as important as loving what we do at MSL.

If the above description sounds like it might be the storybook beginning to your dream career, please keep reading for details on how we get introduced.

Who can apply for the MSL 2024 Graduate Fellowship program?

We’re looking for students graduating in April/May 2024 with at least 35 hours/week available, during typical business hours, 9AM-5PM. We’re focused on recent graduates because our fellowship is the #1 way we welcome post-graduate talent into our MSL family – just last summer, more than three quarters of our Fellows accepted full-time jobs with MSL.

Can I apply if I’m going to be a rising senior in June 2024?

Yes! While many of our spots will go to recent graduates on teams that may be looking to hire their Fellow(s) at the end of the program, we do still welcome applicants who will be heading into their senior year in the fall of 2024.

What are the dates of the program?

The program runs from June 3, 2024 to August 9, 2024.

Which cities will host post graduate fellows in 2024?

MSL has 8 offices throughout the US - New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Seattle, Detroit, Boston and Washington, D.C. We are currently recruiting for all locations. Final Fellowship placements will be determined based on individual business needs.

Is the 2024 Graduate Fellowship in-person or virtual, or a hybrid?

The 2024 Graduate Fellowship program will be a hybrid program (a mix of in-person and remote work). Final details about the balance of in-office days vs. remote workdays will be determined closer to the start of the program.

Is the 2024 Graduate Fellowship paid?

Yes! This is a full-time, paid fellowship at $20 per hour.
