When the TJ team recently toured Embry, the new condominium development designed by Taylor Johnson client Lamar Johnson Collaborative (LJC), we could easily see why the building was more than 80% sold by the time it started delivering units. Inside and out, LJC designed the building to convey a layered richness that would appeal to luxury buyers looking to land in Chicago’s West Loop – from Embry’s thoughtful floor plans to its stunning bronze-colored facade. Knowing Crain’s Chicago Business real estate reporter Dennis Rodkin would be interested in seeing the building, we invited him to tour with LJC Principal Alan Barker, who led the design of Embry.
