THE FIVEFOLD MINISTRY

The giftings of the fivefold ministry (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher) should have one purpose, and that is the teaching and equipping of the saints until we come into unity.

THE SOWER IS YOU

_______________________

Jesus spoke in parables using real life images [examples] that the people could relate to. One very well known one is the parable of the sower and the seed which is found in Mark 4:3-20. The seed was sown on the wayside, the stony ground, among thorns and thistles, and upon good ground with varying results.

Mark 4:13 identifies the seed as the word of God. But my question is this: who is the sower of the word? The sower is every born-again believer. Jesus made it clear that we are to spread [sow] the seed of God’s word. We are to share our spiritual experience with others.

In Matthew 28:19, the Great Commission is given. It says, “Go ye therefore…” and it applies to all of us. We are to testify wherever we may be. That is how the seed is sown [planted].

The results of the sown seed of God’s word are not up to us. Some will receive it, and some will not. The Holy Spirit is the one who draws the person to God. We follow the prompting in our spirit to witness, and the Holy Spirit waters that seed.

Jesus said the field [lost souls] is ripe unto harvest [for salvation], but the workers are few. You, the seed sower, are the worker that Jesus is counting on. There can be no harvest where no seed has been sown.

You, the seed sower, are God’s farmer. You sow the seed, and sometimes you cultivate the sprouted seed.  God might even use you to harvest some souls. But you must be willing to be that harvester. You must act upon his call. It does not “just happen” without your cooperation.

Be a willing and eager seed sower for God’s kingdom.

WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS, PRAY

__________________

I have heard it said many times, “When all else fails, pray.” Now, these are nice people that have said this, but they have it all wrong.

Prayer should not be our last consideration. We are to live a continuous lifestyle of prayer. Prayer is simply talking to God and waiting with expectancy for him to answer.

Prayer is one of our offensive weapons against our adversary, the devil. In Ephesians 6:18 it says, “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, [tongues] and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.”

James 5:16b says, “The effectual [unceasing] fervent prayer of a righteous man [woman] availeth much.”

Prayer should be the very first thing we do when we have a problem. I can attest to you that prayer changes things. I have seen it stop tornadoes. I have seen it heal the sick. I have seen it cast out demonic spirits. I have seen it miraculously supply every need I had.

Do not limit yourself to that old adage, “when all else fails pray.” We serve a mighty God that hears and answers our prayers! And might I add, don’t wait for someone else to pray when you have been given authority through the name of Jesus to pray yourself!

A PROPHETIC WORD

AS GIVEN TO HELEN SANDERS

3-11-2024

As I called to Moses from a burning bush and told him that it was holy ground, I am calling those that are willing to step into the fire and be transformed by the fire of God. For this is the hour that I am calling those that will make a stand for me and my word and will listen and obey to the very jot and tittle of what I am asking them to do. For once you have entered into this place, which is a holy place, your life will never be the same. But with the call comes the fire. For all those that come must remove their shoes and come before my fiery throne and be purified. It is not a place for those that are only willing to go halfway. It is a place of utmost and total surrender. It is a place where I will meet those that come face to face, and will whisper my thoughts and secrets into their spirit. It is a place of refining as none other. It is a place that will redeem you from any earthly ties that are binding you to the world. It is a place that will bring you forth as a changed child of God. Just as Moses was changed, so you too will be changed. It is not for the fainthearted, for you have not walked this way before. Yet, the call on your life now was planned before you were even in the womb. It was conceived by my spirit and has your destiny tied to it. So, my child, I bid you come. Will you let go of all that holds you back from this fiery furnace? Will you be willing to go through the purification that it takes to bring you to a place like it was for Moses? I am here, and I await your answer. I am calling to you and await your answer.

APOSTLE PAT MURRAY

PROPHETIC EXHORTATION

5-22-2024

Don’t ever allow a season of hardships, heartbreaks and dry places to destroy you or to redefine God’s plans for your life. No you must never let a bad situation dictate who you are or where God has you going. Remember how Elijah prophesied that a drought would come; And by virtue of that same prophetic word he gave, he also became a partaker of it. The Bible tells us in I Kings 17 how for over 3 years the man of God Elijah depended on a widow, a raven and a river to feed him and sustain him. It’s true, while Elijah was going through that time of lack and loneliness, he could have questioned the prophetic word he’d given and of him being a prophet. However, instead of having himself a pity party Elijah rejoiced that God had been faithful; And provided for him and kept him safe through it all. We read in God’s Word how the terrible famine which affected so many people did not stop Elijah. No it didn’t slow him down or in anyway diminish the calling that God placed on his life; But rather it magnified and escalated it all. So determine today to come on out of the famine and the difficult place you’ve been in; For God is already making a way for you.

Thursday Scripture Of The Day

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬-‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This is speaking to the nation of Israel. But we know that this scripture is for us also. As I went through the storm in my life I needed to know that He knew me, He heard me as I prayed, and that He listened to my pleas. Maybe you are going through that trial , that storm in your life. He hears you and He is listening. Don’t stop believing that He will take you through. He loves you.

 I Am Waiting! HCC

When God when? God will always give us his best answer,

But at the right time, his time. So, as I wait,

I work on patience. I don’t have very good patience,

So, Lord help me. I give my prayers to you each day,

As I try to help others and help myself.

As I wait, and yes patiently, I pray.

So many prayers I send your way. I say them in the morning,

And on all through the day. I don’t forget now,

To do the most important thing, is to thank my Savior,

For all he’s giving me. So much this Jesus gave,

So many blessings, many unknown to me.

But what a Savior, that he chose to die for me.

What love is this?        “GOD” S LOVE!
