An Invitation to Holy Week from Fr. Phil
Dear friends, it is a joy to prepare for my first Holy Week as your priest at St. Anne. As we begin our journey together with Jesus on Palm Sunday, I hope you will consider taking part in the fullness of this week, especially the three days known as the Paschal Triduum (Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter)--these services form ONE continuous liturgy that is the most important of the Christian year and which reveals the fullness of God's saving and healing work in Christ.
In particular, I encourage you to join us for the Great Vigil of Easter on Saturday, March 30th at 8PM--there is no other service quite like it, and it is filled with beauty and wonder. And, of course, I look forward to celebrating with you on Easter morning, when we rejoice and marvel at the love of the One who died for us and rose again.
To the Cross and Beyond,
Phil+

Over the years, parishioners have generously donated for specific needs of the church, such as the pilgrimage, children's choir, etc. To make it simpler for everyone, the Finance Committee recently cleaned up the accounts and simplified the categories for these restricted funds. The new, Vestry-approved categories and available funds are now posted on the bulletin board in the hallway with the Vestry meeting minutes. Contact Janice Urbanik, the Vestry Finance Liaison, with any questions at jlurbanik@gmail.com.
