PARISH ACTIVITIES

New! St. Anne Welcomes The Rev. Michael Smith

This Sunday, we are delighted to welcome The Rev. Michael Smith as our guest preacher, and we are also pleased to announce that he is beginning a part-time ministry as Assisting Priest at St. Anne. Fr. Mike is a semi-retired Episcopal priest who has served at various parishes in the Diocese of Southern Ohio, and he is also the former Provost & Chief Academic Officer of the Christ College of Nursing & Health Sciences in Cincinnati.

Fr. Mike will be with us approximately two Sundays per month to help with worship and will also work with me to support other ministry areas in the parish. The Vestry has had the opportunity to meet with Fr. Mike, and we are all grateful for his willingness to give of his time and talents to our community as we continue to build our team and grow our many ministries at St. Anne.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to me. Please join us in welcoming Fr. Mike on Sunday! --Fr. Phil

Each host will provide the entree and request whatever additional dishes they would like. As soon as the Host's date is two weeks away, please post a guest sign up with the details of the evening: time, food requested, BYOB, and bring a lawn chair if needed, etc. Questions? Contact Frankie Croisant.

Thank you to St. Anne Outreach Allocation Committee

Ignite Peace recently held an event for viewers of their 3-part docuseries, Race and Racism in Cincinnati. The donation they received from St. Anne helped fund the “action-focused” community discussion, which included a diverse group of 20 participants who gathered to learn about racism in Cincinnati and discuss what they can do to bring about change. Click here to read a thank you letter from Ignite Peace Program Director Bekky Baker, MSW, which includes details on the group discussions and action items they proposed for moving forward.
