Happy Tuesday, friends!

We hope you had a great Memorial Day Weekend. We're excited for a busy week ahead!

First things first, a scheduling change: the carousel will be closed for repairs tomorrow, Wednesday, May 29. Normal operation will resume on Thursday, May 30 at 10am.

Photoworks' newest exhibition, Good Sports, opens this Friday, May 31 and runs through Sunday, July 21. An opening reception will be held Sunday, June 2 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm.

Saturday at 10:30am on Zoom, former ACO artist Maremi Andreozzi will host this weekend's ACO discussion with artist and Freight Gallery director and curator Julia Bloom. Learn about Bloom's current pieces created using a manual typewriter, plus what it's like curating art for a freight-elevator-turned-gallery-space.

Sunday from 1:00pm - 4:00pm, Yellow Barn instructor and owner of Raven Tattoo Shop Marjorie Forgues will host a FREE Open Model Drawing and Demo session and Tattoo Drawing Workshop at Yellow Barn Studio!

Don't miss the exhibitions closing this weekend! Elizabeth Casqueiro's Borderline Edge was reviewed by The Washington Post's Mark Jenkins, and the Popcorn Gallery and Stone Tower Gallery shows, 50 Years in Clay: 1974-2024 and Lingering Impressions:

The Creative Edge of Letterpress have been thoroughly enjoyed by visitors over the past month. SilverWorks' exhibition, Hard Femmes, is also coming to a close.

Reminder! Proposals for exhibitions to be held in the Popcorn Gallery, Stone Tower Gallery, and Park View Gallery during the 2025 calendar year are due next Wednesday, June 5. Learn more and submit today!

Read on for more of this week's happenings, including upcoming classes. We can't wait to see you at the Park soon, and as always, we appreciate your support!
