Happy June, everyone!

Summer is right around the corner, but secretly we're pretending it has already arrived.

Two great opportunities come to a close TOMORROW! First, Photoworks' Silent Auction featuring a wide range of enticing items. Bidding ranges from $5 - $800 to raise money for Photoworks' programming. Second, proposals for Partnership Galleries exhibitions to be held in the Popcorn Gallery, Stone Tower Gallery, and Park View Gallery during the 2025 calendar year are due. Learn more and submit today!

This Friday, join us for the June Art Walk! Our Partnership Galleries will be hosting opening receptions for three new, exciting exhibitions, and our resident art organizations will host open studios and exhibitions of their own. RSVPs are preferred, not required.

Also Friday evening, Washington Conservatory of Music will host pianist Chencheng Yao at 7:30pm as part of their Casual Concerts series. Take a break from perusing the art to take in some classical compositions!

On Sunday, June 9, Art Glass Center artists will discuss their works on view in the Popcorn Gallery during a 1:00pm Artist Talk.

Read on for more of this week's happenings, including upcoming classes. We can't wait to see you at the Park soon, and as always, we appreciate your support!

Swing Dance

8:00pm - 11:30pm | Spanish Ballroom

“Swing” is the music, and “swing dancing” is the family of dances that developed to the new musical style that began with the Harlem Renaissance in the 1920s. One hundred years later, swing dancing with its many variations is still going strong.
