It's Gala week!


The Partnership is hard at work getting ready for the annual Gala in the Park this Saturday evening. While tickets for the Gala are sold out, after party tickets are still available! Learn more about Boogie in the Bumper Car -- bound to be the after party of the season -- and purchase tickets here.


The morning of the Gala, tune in to an extra special Art Clinic Online. Former ACO guest artist Ephriam Rubenstein is back by popular demand to delve deeper into his work with chalk pastels and announce some exciting collaborations planned with Stone Tower Studio this fall!


Also Saturday morning, pop into the Ballroom Back Room for this week's $15 DanceFit class! You'll learn about intuitive movement known to help people get out of their minds and into their bodies.


On Sunday, Photoworks will be hosting its monthly Coffee and Critique. Learn more!


This week is your last chance to catch Alice in Wonderland at the Puppet Co. The final performance will be at 1:00pm on Sunday, the 19th. Get your tickets now!

ACO: Pastels with Ephriam Rubenstein

Ephraim Rubenstein’s inaugural talk with the ACO in 2023 was such a resounding success that he's been invited back to delve deeper into his chalk pastel techniques.


Rubenstien's pastel works will be displayed in Stone Tower Studio throughout October, and he will be teaching a weekend workshop in the Studio!

Coffee and Critique

Coffee and Critique is a free monthly event for photographers to share and discuss current work with fellow artists. Whether you are seeking input on one image or have a larger project, please join! Walk-ins are welcome. Prints of your work are required if you wish to share during the session. No photos will be viewed on a digital device. Coffee and snacks will be provided.

The Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture requests exhibition proposals from artists for the Popcorn Gallery, Stone Tower Gallery, and Park View Gallery at Glen Echo Park for the 2025 calendar year. We aim to exhibit quality art by artists who represent a broad spectrum of our region, with diverse backgrounds and working in a wide range of artistic media. Deadline is June 5, 2024.

Sing Down the Moon: Appalachian Wonder Tales

April 26 - May 26 | Adventure Theatre


This play incorporates singing, mountain dances, music, and puppets to create a highly theatrical storytelling style. The score, which interweaves music throughout the tales, is inspired by "Old Time" Appalachian music featuring fiddle and banjo that drives the play's action and makes music itself a character in the play.

Alice in Wonderland

April 18 - May 19 | the Puppet Co.


This brand new adaptation based on the beloved children’s novel by Lewis Carroll will take audiences on a delightful journey into Wonderland using rod puppets. This one-of-a-kind performance blends music and humor to create a new version of a familiar story.

Recommended for ages 4+. Runtime ~50 minutes.

Tiny Tots

Ongoing | the Puppet Co.


Designed for children 18 months to 4 years old, ongoing Tiny Tots shows offer a viewing atmosphere especially suited for young theatre patrons. All Tiny Tots shows feature: 30 minute runtime, no dark room, no loud noises, and open theatre doors.

Glen Echo Park Aquarium


Learn about the creatures that inhabit the Chesapeake Bay and beyond through interactive exhibits, knowledgable educators, and a dynamic space. Timed entry creates a personalized learning environment, guaranteeing an in-depth experience for all who visit.
