Registration will open soon for the 2024 Texas Honors Institute, which is scheduled for July 26-28 at Texas Woman's University in Denton.

The tentative agenda will be made available after our planning meeting in mid-May.

Member/Advisor/Guest: $250/person

Alumni (who are not advisors): $225/person

Beginning 6/22/24, registration increases $100.

No new registrations or any changes will be accepted after 7/8/24.

We are excited to announce the Dr. Mary Hood STAR Scholarship is now OPEN.

Qualifying students must be students returning to a community college for the 2024-2025 academic year with a GPA of 3.5 or higher who have completed a total of 15 credit hours and who were enrolled in at least 9 hours during the Spring 2024 semester to receive a Texas STAR scholarship. The Scholarship is contingent on students being enrolled in at least 9 credit hours each semester the scholarship is awarded (the scholarship is divided into two payments: half in Fall 2024 and the remainder in Spring 2025).

Register now for Phi Theta Kappa’s 2024 Leadership Development Certification Seminar, which will be held June 26-28. The 3-day virtual course is limited to 25 participants.

Certification is required for anyone wishing to facilitate leadership development using the Phi Theta Kappa curriculum. This opportunity is open to all PTK advisors, as well a college administrators, student affair professionals, honor program directors and faculty, college faculty from all disciplines, and leadership professionals.
