Join us for the TTIA Virtual 2023 Congress to be held November 4^th and Teachers Day on November 5^th. The morning sessions will focus on how we can support ourselves with Therapeutic Touch and the afternoons will focus on supporting our healing partners, students and our communities. We are excited to be able to hear from a variety of practitioners and teachers from around the globe!

Fraud alert!

A member of TTIA received a suspicious email asking for “help” on behalf of the association. The email address was made to look like it came from someone on the board, but without a name. Our member did not respond or click on the link provided in the email, as her computer security system warned her of an identity thief.

Official TTIA mail comes only from the address ttia@therapeutictouch.org. If you receive suspicious email from any other address, with the sender claiming to be TTIA, or TT related, do not respond or follow any links in the message. Delete the message.

Basic computer security is important to our offices and also to our personal dealings. Please be safe.

Therapeutic Touch is based on a concept of a human being as an open system, always exchanging with others and the environment. From this perspective, an individual is made up of a physical body, emotions, thoughts, and an intuitive self. A person is a dynamic system--our bodies, feelings and thoughts are always changing. Despite this constant change, there is an orderly relationship and integrated working together of all these aspects of our makeup that defines a state of health. During Therapeutic Touch, the practitioner, with a specific intent to help, uses the fact of energy exchange between individuals to make universal healing available to the recipient. This supports the body's inherent tendency toward order. In this way Therapeutic Touch supports the integrated functioning of the whole.

Saving Dee, Saving Dora

Thanks to Kathy Wilmering's tireless work cataloging literally hundreds of Dora's and Dee's tapes and videotapes, never mind all of the papers she has organized, we now have an opportunity to help out Saving Dee and Saving Dora!!!

You ask, what can I do???

Well, you don't have to travel to Dee's Rockery in Montana to physically help Kathy out. Phew!!

What you can do is help defray the cost of digitizing the wealth of history Kathy has organized. Currently she has 140 tapes and videotapes to be digitized, each costing $30 to be digitized and $60 if we have to edit them. The bill for this will be at least $4500 and there are even more precious memories from our founders to save.

So, since you need not travel to Montana to help, could you, would you consider helping fund this historical endeavor, please? Any amount you give will help greatly.

Thanks, Juanita! Although the Rockery’s studio resembles the atmosphere of some desert caves - dry and cool- and has preserved the media fairly well, many of them are at least 50 years old and we need to act quickly to stop the deterioration that has begun. And if you donate $30 or more, I will tell you which tape you are “adopting”. We will also display names of all donors on a wall of the Rockery.

Every Friday our TT community has the opportunity to come together in harmony for the world using a meditation developed by Dora Kunz, co- founder of Therapeutic Touch.
