SUBR - Master of Education/Educational Leadership
Angela Boxie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education in 2002 and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership in 2011, both from the university.

Angela currently serves as a sixth-grade math teacher at Edgar Martin Middle School in the Lafayette Parish School System. Angela’s event is part of the Milken Family Foundation’s national tour surprising outstanding educators with the Milken Educator Award and its accompanying unrestricted $25,000 cash prize. We are only honoring 44 recipients this school year, and Angela is the first awarded in Lafayette Parish.
