Happy summer! I pray that you are enjoying the time with your family. The weather has been amazing!

OSL Summer Adventure Camp is in full swing and we are also very busy preparing for the 2023-2024 school year.

There will be many new and exciting things here at OSL when you return in August, but one thing will remain the same. You will be greeted by caring and loving teachers and staff who are ready to share Christ's love with you and your child.

Take a look at the fun upcoming events and mark your calendar. It will be August before you know it!

UPCOMING EVENTS

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL will be held July 17-21, 9 am-noon.

Registration for children ages 3-entering 6th grade. Cost is $10 or $5 for those attending Summer Camp that week. Registration due by July 8.

Volunteers are also needed. If you are willing to help during that week or decorate prior to that week, contact Myrna Baneck mbaneck@oursaviorlcs.org.

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT

Monday, August 14 6:00-7:30 p.m.

This is the night to reconnect with old friends and meet some new ones. In addition there will be opportunities to find out the latest information about clubs, PTL events, and other exciting events for families of all ages.

Then it will be time to visit the classroom briefly before heading out to grab a snocone to finish off the perfect evening!

CLASSROOM VISITS/HOME VISITS

Information will be coming in late July/early August from your child's teacher to sign up for a personal visit. Preschool families will visit the classrooms, while K-8 families will be asked to set up a time for a home visit.

These visits allow the parents the opportunity to become acquainted with the teacher as well as give them the opportunity to share information about their child.

This is an opportunity for the preschool students to become familiar with the classroom and also a chance to drop off supplies.

K-8 teachers also look forward to getting to know your family and also go over important information about the classroom and the school year. Supplies may be brought in on Opening Celebration Night or the first day of school.
