The road to the House majority runs through California. 

This single-minded motto fuels the California Grassroots Alliance, a statewide network of volunteers organized to sweep six purple districts and take back the House majority. As a proud partner, Field Team 6 will benefit from Power in the House, the Alliance kickoff Zoom on April 24 at 7p PT, where three terrific speakers will describe what it takes to flip a tough battleground House district:

• Jessica Craven, activist, author of Chop Wood, Carry Water

We all remember the California heartbreakers in 2022: Democrat Adam Gray lost CA-13 by only 564 votes, and Rudy Salas finished a mere 3,132 votes behind in CA-22. But for 2024, Alliance research shows a whopping 216,000 unregistered potential Democrats waiting to be activated in the six purple districts*—and that’s where Field Team 6 jumps in! 

Twenty five cents is the direct cost to acquire an unregistered likely Democrat’s name from a list broker, send two emails, and text them twice. Typically, Field Team 6 yields one out of three as a new blue or purple voter. So the Alliance has set a goal of $10,000 for a special one-time campaign to help Field Team 6 acquire up to 40,000 names of Not-Yet-Registered likely Democrats in the six districts, use proven digital outreach techniques, and get them on the voter rolls.

EMAILS WORK! LET'S SEND 'EM TO THE SWING STATES!

Can we get you pumped up about email? It's been around since, like, the Seventies. But guess what? It's a hot way to register new Democrats. Yep, emails are real bangers!

It's only costs about 14 cents to buy each record and just half a cent to send an email. Plus, the best part: they're wildly effective! In 2022, Field Team 6 emailed 5 million unregistered, likely Democrats. For those who received email, 40% registered as blue or purple voters (Democrats or independents).

In Florida, there's a brutal 6-week abortion ban, but there's also a chance to enshrine abortion rights in the state constitution in November. And that's gonna get people pumped up to vote, and get people like YOU pumped up to send them emails. Don't forget: since the horrific fall of Roe, whenever abortion rights are on the ballot, Democrats win. So help us mobilize Florida and flip it blue! What's our game plan?

We need to raise $21,289 (and we're just $727 short right now!) to buy 183,358 records for unregistered likely Democrats, and another $1,375 to email them twice. So donate to help us get those emails to Florida: go HERE.
