Reinhardt University’s chapter of the Beta Beta Beta National Biological Honors Society (Tri-Beta) inducted twelve students. Students who are invited are pursuing biology education, have a 3.0 or above grade point average in at least three biology courses, and maintain good academic standing with the University.

New Emeriti Faculty to be Honored

This Spring, Reinhardt honors 19 faculty and staff by bestowing emeriti status. The honorary title recognizes outstanding service and signifies the respect of their peers for their performance and contributions to Reinhardt University. To be granted this honor individuals must meet criteria outlined by policy, receive positive votes by peers, approval by the president and board of trustees. It is a high honor and celebrates excellence. 

 

An emeriti luncheon and formal ceremony will be held on April 9th to celebrate their contributions, achievements, and lasting legacy.

All alumni, students, colleagues, and supporters are encouraged to share your memories and experiences with anyone on this list. Annual Remembrance Service Planned

Reinhardt University’s annual remembrance service will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2023, at 12 p.m., to honor the lives of those who have passed away in the past year. The heartfelt commemoration is open to anyone in the Reinhardt community and includes a ringing of the bells.

Registration Opens for United Methodist Scholarship Golf Outing

Each spring, the United Methodist Scholarship Golf Outing tournament provides a memorable opportunity for golfers of any level to get out on the course and enjoy camaraderie while supporting student scholarships. The 31st annual event takes place on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Lake Arrowhead Yacht and Country Club in Waleska.


Methodist clergy and community members from across northwest Georgia plan and participate in this golf tournament each year.

 

All are welcome to participate in this golfing fellowship. Proceeds help students obtain their degrees. Reinhardt University appreciates the support and participation in this important fundraising event.

 

The play format is a four-person Ft. Lauderdale scramble. Prizes will be awarded for the top two flight scores, plus individual awards for the longest drive, closest to the pin, hole-in-one, and putting.

The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) announced its end-of-season conference awards for Men's and Women's Basketball. In his first season as the women's head coach, Tony Campbell was selected as AAC Coach of the Year. He led the team to achieve an outstanding season record of 24-2.

"Sweet Betsy from Pike" follows a couple's journey, highlighting the challenges and humorous moments they encounter. The narrator’s storytelling captures the spirit of the American frontier and the determination of those who ventured westward during the Gold Rush era.
