What an exceptional evening it was at the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce gala! The atmosphere in the room was vibrant and pulsating with energy. At the heart of our economy lied small businesses, alongside the remarkable Senator Ben Cardin, Comptroller Brooke Lierman, Mayor's Office of Small and Minority Business Advocacy & Development.
The night unfolded with a flurry of activity, culminating in the presentation of the inaugural Chamber Champion Award to Ben Cardin. His steadfast support for Baltimore's small businesses, extending beyond the city limits, earned him this prestigious honor. Gratitude was also extended to Chairwoman Royster for her unwavering dedication and service to the Chamber, acknowledged with a commendation from the State Comptroller Brooke Lierman herself!
Embracing new leadership, we welcomed Chelsea Brown as the new President and Teresa Evans as the Chairwoman. This changing of the guard signals a further promising future for the Chamber.
Throughout the event, we celebrated our pillars—those businesses that have not only opened their doors but have also actively hosted and sponsored networking events. Their efforts align with the Chamber's values, fostering an environment where small businesses can network and thrive.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the generous City of Baltimore and our sponsors whose support made this event possible.
Here are some snapshots capturing the highlights of the evening's festivities.
