STATEMENT FROM JIM BEATTY, EXPO ORGANIZER
Over the past months the world has continued to change and each of us has had to cope with those changes. No one is excluded, we all have had to pivot. So with that in mind, I made the following announcement regarding the EXPO. Thanks for your continued support of this historic event.
Due to the pandemic and continued increase in COVID-19 cases nationally, the Inaugural African American Golf EXPO and Forum, sponsored by Golf Digest, has been rescheduled from Feb 20-23, 2021 to Aug 21-24, 2021. The Marietta Hilton and Conference Center, just outside Atlanta, will continue as the host location. Golf activities remain on-site, at the City Club Marietta Golf Course.
With the COVID-19 pandemic continuing throughout the United States and the rest of the world, the health and safety of everyone involved takes precedence. EXPO organizers are committed to presenting a safe and healthy environment. I hope and pray that the extra time will allow for even greater participation and increased attendee experiences.
Early bird discount hotel registration for lodging can be made at the Hilton Marietta for only $114 plus tax per night including breakfast! My thanks to the Hilton for making this affordable.
Small Business Owners are encouraged to exhibit their products and services or at the EXPO by participating in the
SMALL MALL EXHIBITION SPACE,designed especially for entrepreneurs.
The four-day event will attract participants from all backgrounds, including new and experienced golfers, exhibitors, industry professionals, manufacturers, suppliers, media members, and golf industry executives.
