Dear Friends of LTV,
So here we are, at nearly the beginning of December, and once again everybody has their hands out looking for those Giving Tuesday and end of the year donations. It’s understandable. LTV is a Not for Profit 501(c)3 also. We see and understand the need. It’s been a tough year financially for everyone. Money’s tight, funding for many things has been reduced or cut entirely. Yet all of us want to provide the same community services that we have in the past. And somehow we will with the help of that same community.
You may have noticed that LTV has reinvented itself over the past few years. We are still your local public access TV station providing our neighbors with studio and educational shows plus full coverage of all of the Town and Village of East Hampton government and school board meetings on two channels, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. That’s our mission.
But now we have created a community space and environment for new, different and exciting events. We are home to The Hamptons Festival of Music, South Fork Performing Arts, Our Fabulous Variety Show and Playwrights' Theatre of East Hampton. We have partnered with the Hamptons Jazz Fest to bring you great music and brought you our Piano Series and American Songbook featuring top of the line performances from both local and afar.
We have focused on multi-cultural events such as the Indigenous Film and Fashion Show, Celebrating Black Culture on the East End and even Latin Dance Night and Discovering Georgian Culture with amazing singers and dancers from that country.
There is so much more and some of our favorites are listed below. Click on the links and see for yourself. We’d love to continue on this path and would love your support. We know that there are many excellent Not for Profits - especially on the East End - but we hope that you will consider LTV if you are in the position to donate this year. And please stop by and take in some events… we’d love to see you!
LTV is You TV!
