As we reflect on some of the wonderful moments of this year's Blue Hope 5K, it fills us with so much joy and gratitude. We Stand Together, Inc. would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our participants, volunteers, vendors, generous sponsors, and donors for your support. We also want to express our gratitude to our event partner, Primary Medical Care Center, for their continued generosity and belief in our mission. The 4th Annual Blue Hope 5K was an enjoyable, successful, and impactful event, and it wouldn't have been possible without each one of you! Thank you for standing with us in the fight to raise awareness about colon cancer in our community! We Are Stronger Together!

Though Colon Cancer Awareness Month is behind us we want to remind you how important it is to get screened. Colorectal Cancer is now the deadliest cancer among young adult men under the age of 50, and 2nd leading cause of cancer death in young adult women in the United States. However, it is preventable, treatable, and beatable when caught in its early stages. Together, we can continue to make a difference in our community and help fight this disease. Go get screened and encourage your family and friends to do so as well. Remember, Early Detection Saves Lives!

We Stand Together, Inc. is happy to announce that we are now accepting applications for our Direct Service Financial Assistance Program. If you or someone you know is battling breast cancer, you may apply to receive assistance with living expenses such as rent/mortgage, utilities, groceries, medical copays, and transportation. Applicants must be of Haitian descent or other ethnic minority groups. Please be sure to review the policy/guidelines before applying.
