2024-2025 Morning Drop Off

and

Afternoon Pick Up Procedures

August 2, 2024

Dear Families:

This year, TES will continue to implement a morning curbside drop off plan, but will be returning to an in person sign out for afternoon pick up for families who choose to transport their child rather than utilizing bus transportation. We are attaching a link in this email that will provide you with the drop off and pick up procedures for Timmons Elementary.

Timmons Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures
Traffic Pattern

Morning Drop Off

Attached to the drop off and pick up procedures is a traffic map that outlines the traffic pattern that drivers must follow in the morning. The traffic pattern for morning drop off has changed. We ask that you enter the campus through the High School entrance off Snyder Road, vear to your left, through the parking lot, and down into the highschool bus loop before coming up the service drive into the Timmons front loop. It is important that everyone follow the traffic pattern so that our bus fleet can maneuver safely during the arrival of students. If you have a child at both KMS and Timmons, you will begin the drop off and pick up process with KMS.

Afternoon Pick Up - THIS IS A CHANGE FROM LAST YEAR

When picking up your child at the end of the day, parents should park in the Visitors Parking Lot or the stadium parking lot and enter through the main entrance. No parking is permitted in the Bus Loop or on service roads. The main entrance doors will be open no earlier than 3:15pm. It is required that every child be signed out. Parents are to sign out their child in the Multi-purpose Room following established procedures. Students will be called at dismissal (3:20 P.M.) and will meet parents in the Multi-purpose Room.

Thank you for your cooperation with our drop off and pick up procedures which is for the safety of all children at Timmons Elementary. We appreciate your patience during the start of school as we work to implement arrival and dismissal safety procedures in our building.

Sincerely,
Dave Rogaliner
