The Eternal One spoke to Moses, saying: "Speak to the Israelite people thus: When a woman at childbirth bears a male, she shall be impure seven days; she shall be impure as at the time of her condition of menstrual separation."

The Eternal One spoke to Moses, saying: "This shall be the ritual for a leper at the time of being purified ."

Alexia Abelson will celebrate her Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, April 22, 2023, joined by her proud parents Mariana and Richard Abelson, and brother Jake Abelson. Alexia is the granddaughter of Annalee and Mark Abelson of Montreal Canada and Sarah Filsinger and Sergio Ramirez of Mexico City, Mexico.
Alexia, who is currently in the seventh grade, is a world-class water skier and a member of the Junior, under-21 USA National team. She is also a diamond-level gymnast and enjoys snow skiing, mountain biking, and spending time with friends.
For her Bat Mitzvah Project, Alexia created toiletry and snack packages for the homeless. She has been passing them around town and also donated a large box at a homeless shelter in Mesa.
