Recently, 125 TEDC members gathered for the annual spring conference in Panama City. We had two mornings filled with informative presentations, but after 26 years of having the conference in Florida, we experienced several firsts! For the first time, we had to cancel the golf tournament due to storms. Then on Thursday afternoon, we were under a tornado warning, and a tornado did touch down a few miles from the resort. One member actually captured a photo of a water spout in the ocean from their hotel room. But in true TEDC form, everyone found new ways to network and try some new activities. Some enjoyed bowling, others roller skated, but several enjoyed playing Left, Right Center in the hospitality suite. Shoutout to Randy Merritt, Regional Business Development Manager for Christman, who sponsored the hospitality suite. He went above and beyond to keep everyone entertained during our bad weather day.
We are working on the new 2023-2024 directory, and we need your help reviewing and updating your information. We hope that all member photos will be in color this year, so it is a good time to send in new headshots. This directory is mailed to city and county mayors across Tennessee.
