Joseph has served as the Art and Music Teacher at Avondale House for 10+ years and has an incredible impact on our students, clients, and staff alike. He is sure to brighten up your day with a smile and enthusiastic attitude! He is consistently warm, kind and personable, a joy to see around Avondale House!

At Avondale House, Joseph implements a fine arts program that provides interventional music activities and visual art projects designed for students with autism and disabilities. These projects support the growth of communication and social skills, encourage fine and gross motor development, and allow students to exercise creativity. Joseph has also painted all of the beautiful artwork that is featured throughout the second floor of Avondale House as part of his "Faces of Autism" collection, including that of which is pictured here.

Joseph's nominator, Melody said that he "goes beyond the call of duty when working with students and interacts with all on both a personal and professional level." We are so thankful for the way he teaches creativity and helps our students and clients learn to express themselves through art!
