As Vaccine Distribution Increases,
Extra Measures Ensure A Safe Return
At TASC, we are beginning to see the light at the end of this long tunnel in the COVID-19 era.

Clients that can safely return to in-person programs are able to join small groups or one to one programming.

Socializing has always been an important part of the day for TASC clients and staff members alike. It is exciting to welcome back more clients safely. Remote services and Zoom classes are still taking place for those safer at home.

An extra layer of precaution that TASC has taken is to sanitize TASC's fleet of vehicles and office space by a professional company. The company comes in once a week to conduct the sanitation. The picture to the right is not a ghostbuster! It is the professional sanitizing company at work on a TASC vehicle.

TASC continues to follow safety guidelines and provides PPE for clients and staff as needed.

Vaccinations are highly encouraged for staff members and clients to ensure a safe return for all. Below are pictures of how outings in the community looked in a pre-COVID-19 world, compared to now. Additionally, interactions around TASC have changed to allow us to follow safety guidelines.
Vaccine Resources & Updates
In Los Angeles County on Thursday, April 1 individuals age 50-64 years old will be eligible to be vaccinated. On Thursday, April 15, everyone age 16 or older will be eligible. The supply of vaccines continues to be limited. LA County's priority is to increase access for communities who are at the highest risk of COVID-19 and who have lower rates of vaccinations.

LA County is now vaccinating people aged 16-64 with qualifying medical conditions or disabilities. Residents with disabilities or without computer access can call 833-540-0473 between 8:00 am and 8:30 pm, 7 days a week for assistance with appointments.

The Los Angeles Times published an article with helpful tips on getting the vaccine, click on the title to read the story: Here are a bunch of things you can do to try to get a COVID vaccine in California
