PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Here I sit over the Memorial Day weekend trying to write this message. What a weekend this has been. The weather was the best Long Island has seen for a while. And a big Thank you and remembrance to all those that have served this great nation.
Only one more month to go before our organization hosts its fortieth anniversary event at Flowerfield in St. James. The event will be from 6:00 p.m. –10:00 p.m. If you still have not made your reservation please get your money in.
The last day to let us know if you are going is June 12th.
The count and final numbers have to be sent in to Flowerfield. Further, we will not be accepting any walk-ins on the night of the event.
I would like to take this time to wish all our members out there that will be celebrating Father’s Day to enjoy Sunday, June 16th... Have a Happy Father’s Day. The one day during the year I am not handed a Honey Do list except the following week’s list will be doubled!
This month our meeting is going to be hosted by District Sales Manager of Celebrity Cruises, Nick Gordon. I cannot wait until his presentation. I know I will be set to enjoy it. A little-known secret that Nick and I have which I will share to all of the membership is that I have never sailed Celebrity. Diana and I have had it on our bucket list for a number of years but we never seem to find the time or that cruise that we want
to take. I will keep working on it. Nick does not seem to mind as long as I keep booking my clients. Someday Nick... I promise.
In closing, I would like to thank everyone’s support since I have become President. I also feel honored to be holding this position as we celebrate our 40th Anniversary. It is truly a
memory which I will never forget.
