Dear Members,
After enduring a cold, rainy Memorial Day weekend, lets hope the weather warms and the sun finally returns.
It pains me to say that we are back to a virtual meeting for June. Due to the unavailability of suppliers to host the meeting for a live presentation, the TASC board decided to return it's June meeting back to Zoom. We felt this was better than trying to fill the time with trivia games.
However, on a positive note, we were able to give you a presenter for our virtual meeting. Thank you to Thierry Vuolo with Oceania Cruises for agreeing at this late date to step up.
If any sponsors would like to sign on for our July meeting or September through November meetings, please contact me or Fran Raupp directly. We would really prefer to go back to holding live dinner meetings.
I would like to thank Gavin Simmons with Sandals who gave last month's presentation and to those members and suppliers who continue to support us.
TASC would like to wish all our Dads a very Happy Father's Day, Enjoy!
Respectfully,
Susan Bonesso

Current Industry Affairs (CIA)
New CDC guidance enables passengers and crew on ships with 95% vaccination rates to forego wearing masks or physical distancing while onboard.
Legislation has been passed to temporarily exempt large cruise ships sailing in Alaska from compliance with the Passenger Vessel Services Act. However, they are still waiting for the CDC to lift its ban on large ship cruising. Several cruise lines have announced they will be taking bookings for Alaska cruises including Carnival, Celebrity, Holland-America, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and Silversea.
Southwest Airlines is scheduled to start daily non-stop service from Islip to Nashville beginning June 7th.
