TABLE Announces $200,000 Matching Gift Challenge!

Nearly 7,000 kids in Orange County participate in the National School Lunch Program and therefore are considered food insecure. This is a dramatic increase from 5,000 in 2019. TABLE is delivering food to 800 Orange County kids every week but cannot serve more kids in our current space, grow our programs, or expand our community partnerships.

Thanks to an anonymous donor, if you donate to TABLE's Room to Grow Capital Campaign today, your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $200,000 until December 31, 2022!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 10th Annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser!

We had more than 320 people attend Empty Bowls and were able to beat our goal and raise over $40,500! The weather was beautiful allowing attendees to enjoy food and drinks while listening to live music with family and friends on the lawn at the Carrboro Town Commons. And, we had hundreds of beautiful bowls for all to choose from thanks to the local potters who donated. We look forward to seeing everyone in 2023!

During the 2021/22 school year...

TABLE served 808 kids at our highest point.
Delivered 450,000 pounds of food to families - the weight of the Statue of Liberty!
Distributed 60,000 pounds of locally grown produce.

Cardinal Track Club will be hosting its annual Thanksgiving morning run and be splitting the proceeds from the race between several local non-profits including TABLE. In return, we schedule volunteers to help with course monitoring & race packet pick up.
