TIKKUN LEYL SHAVUOT

On the night of the festival of Shavuot, it is traditional to stay up and learn Torah – a centuries-old custom known as Tikkun Leyl Shavuot. This year, we will continue this tradition in our own TAA style.

Here is the schedule:

  • 6:30 Ice Cream Party
  • 7:00 Family Learning with Alex Marques, Incoming SCFLP Director
  • 7:15(ish) Short Study Sessions with Sara Roizen, Laila Goodman and Rabbi Steven Lewis 
  • 8:00(ish) After-Party with Rav Naomi's Magical Cheesecake

Please feel free to come when you can and leave when you want. Bring the kids in PJs if you'd like!

OPPORTUNITY FOR VOLUNTEERS

CHEVRA KADISHA - JEWISH BURIAL TRAINING

JUNE 10 | 6:30PM Goldman’s Funeral Chapel in Malden.


A training session for the newly formed Community Hevra Kadisha. The Hevra Kadisha is a Jewish burial society which provides honorable Jewish burial preparation (Tahara) in accordance with Jewish law and tradition. The training will be preparing volunteers to perform this sacred mitzvah.
