Who's getting excited for our big 5th anniversary Glenn Miller Tribute with the 19 piece Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra?

We have something incredible to add to it!

We're going to be re-creating the famous Chattanooga Choo Choo scene from the movie "The Glenn Miller Story!" This scene was filmed in the exact same spot at the venue where the ball with be hosted this year! And we'll have the scene from the movie playing in the background:)

We recently booked our Sammy Davis Jr.'s (Nicholas Brooks) tickets from Vegas to Denver! We're Beyond elated to have THE Sammy Davis Jr. who stars in the Las Vegas (and International) Rat Pack Review show performing at the 1940's Ball this year!!! Get ready to get your socks knocked off by this guy! ~Khyentse



This year we'll have 2 super fun photo booths for you to step into your favorite vintage scenes! Cake Knife Photography will be remaking Main Street Bedford Falls for their photo booth! ...And for our other photo booth with Peter Anderson, you'll be able to get your photo with Santa and the Rat Pack or Glenn Miller! Don't forget to get your photo snapped amidst all the dancing and fun!

It's our BIG 5th anniversary and to celebrate we're having 2 incredible big bands this year: The Hot Tomatoes Dance Orchestra and the 19 piece Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra!  

 

For the 70th anniversary of his disappearance the Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra will be doing a Glenn Miller Tribute! On top of that, (and in addition to their regular set) The Hot Tomatoes will be performing a Rat Pack Tribute w/Sinatra, Dino & Sammy LIVE!   

And finally we'll have a new Christmas radio show featuring Jimmy Stewart and Clarence Odbody from, "It's a Wonderful Life" and NPR Affiliate KUNC's Wendy Wham live!

Also with 23 Skidoo, Boulder Swing Dance "Taxi Dancing" for those who need a dance partner, swing dancing lessons, Bluestocking Burly Q, Cora Vette and the Pin Up Contest! Don't forget to visit our Christmas Village with sleigh rides, an ornament making station, glass blowers (who will make you an ornament while you wait),  chestnuts that you can roast on an open fire, delicious holiday treats and photos with Santa in his sleigh.  Dinner options available for purchase, wine, champagne, beer and cocktails available for purchase.  "Authentic Attire" contest!  Don't forget your dancing shoes, the massive dance floor spans the entire building!

Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum in Denver is the absolute perfect spot for our 1940's White Christmas Ball as not only is it a 1940's era hangar, but it was also involved in the filming of The Glenn Miller Story in 1954!    

   

In fact, the famous band scene with singer Frances Langford was staged in the corner where their Restorations department currently stands!  Such a cool historical landmark and piece of history that we get to enjoy as part of the 1940's White Christmas Ball!
