Wayne Township is set to develop a new Master Plan, marking the first major update in 30 years. The previous plan, from 1994, had been re-examined several times but not replaced, prompting some to advocate for a completely new approach. Township Planner Chris Kok is leading this initiative, with T&M providing consulting services for research and planning, aiming to maximize Wayne’s potential and prepare for future opportunities. In a move to bolster local infrastructure, Hunterdon County Commissioners have awarded $1 million in grants to municipalities throughout the county. This significant funding will support a variety of infrastructure projects, including road and bridge repairs, and enhancements to public facilities.
