Did you know that the practice of sending handwritten love notes for Valentine's Day dates back as far as the early 1400s? Exchanging handmade valentines was popular until the 20th century, when mass-produced cards became all the rage. But there is nothing quite like the joy that goes into a handmade card or gift to show your love and affection.

Today we've got some easy-to-make Valentine projects from our talented Creative Team member, Shannon White, to inspire you to create your own Valentine's Day joy. She created these sweet cards and treats with some of our favorite stamps and dies and we can't wait to share them with you!

Shannon loves to make treats and goodies to pass out to her co-workers. This year she decided to whip up some sticky note holders as an alternative to candy for those that may have overindulged over the holidays! With the help of this awesome tutorial , she used our In My Heart stamp set and Conversation Hearts Embossing Folder to help make her calorie-free treats . Our Heart Stacklets dies coordinate perfectly with the stamped heart images and make decorating these quick-and-easy gifts a snap!

For her next project, Shannon wanted to create a card that she could quickly make several of to send out to her many friends across the miles. She die-cut the pattern from our Hearts Cutting Plate out of Sugar Cube cardstock and backed it Red Pepper cardstock. Using our Stitched Heart Stacklets, she die-cut the big, happy heart and adhered it to her clean and simple background, then stamped the perfect sentiment.

For her darling husband, Shannon wanted to make something sweet and special that she could fill with his favorite candy. She used our Graphic Greetings - Valentine , stamped in Sugar Cube   Ink  on Oreo cardstock, and we love the fun chalkboard effect she achieved.

For this project, Shannon used the our Brushed Heart Background stamp to create perfectly coordinated background paper. With our Sugar Cube Premium Pigment Ink, she didn't need to heat emboss!

Our Tagging Along die made quick work of Shannon's little treat holder, which she decorated to match her card before filling with tons of chocolate kisses. She finished off each piece with hearts cut from our Heart Stackets

Shannon kept up her 'low-calorie' valentine treats with these adorable Tic Tac holders! With the help of this fantastic tutorial, she created multiple treat holders filled with love.

To add to the fun, she die-cut a sweet peek-a-boo window using our Heart and Stitched Heart Stacklets. A bit of ribbon to finish things off and she was all ready to share the love!
