The WORD of GOD is powerful! Our repentance booklet "Take the Repentance Route" is based entirely on Proverbs 6:16-19, the 7 sins the LORD calls an abomination. These key Truths are vitally needed in all languages. Today I have a praise report; the booklet is being printed and received in the key language of Swahili! This is Jamal's report (the man above without the collar):
Dear brother Jeff,
I managed to make it to Tanzania as planned. I have attached a photo where I'm pictured with my Christian brother who is hosting me here. So far, we managed to do the following
1. About 2000 copies of Take the Repentance Route booklet in Swahili have been distributed to a Christian organization in Daresslam.
2. About 5000 other booklets in Swahili are being printed and they will be widely distributed across East Africa. All costs will be met by Christian brother.
3. About 2,500 booklets of the Take the Repentance Route booklet in 3 major languages spoken in Malawi have been printed and I will carry them with me to be given out in Malawi, because the demand is still growing. The printing costs have been met by my brother.
4. My brother has donated a fast printer to me which can print about 100 copies at one go.
The booklet and other forms of literature will be printed here in Tanzania because it is cheaper here unlike in Malawi.
I'm leaving for Malawi on Monday morning and I should be arriving on Tuesday morning. All expenses which include accommodation, food and my return transport to Malawi have been met by my host. He is a kind and wonderful Christian. However, we would like to ask you to help us in paying part of the duty for the booklets being transported to Malawi. We are required to pay duty on printed materials as well. And at the same time, we are also paying duty for the printer. The total duty required to pay at the point of entry on Tuesday is $150. These will not enter Malawi without duty. My friend has sacrificed a lot for me.
Brother, you have made huge sacrifices for us, we nonetheless ask for your support in this regard. We need to have this money ready where possible on Monday.
Together with my Tanzanian brother, we are producing a repentance podcast in Swahili for the East African audience.

Also, please join us once again on April 30, 2024 for another grassroots national day of repentance. Participate in your prayer closet, on our zoom call, or in a church if your pastor is awake to the need to model and teach God's Gift of repentance. Why April 30? That was the day President Washington was sworn in to office in 1789; April 30, 1863 was a Day of Humiliation, Fasting and Prayer declared by President Lincoln [leading to victory at Gettysburg shortly thereafter]; April 30, 1974 was the Day voted on unanimously in the Senate for a Day of Humiliation, Fasting and Prayer [the day did not happen; the House never voted on it, having been involved with impeaching Nixon]; and finally, repentance ought to precede prayer [Psalm 66:18, Isaiah 59:1-3], and thus a Day of Repentance is held prior to the National Day of Prayer the first Thursday of May each year.
