New Waste Bins In Tiburon

Discover Tiburon's newest addition in front of the Town Hall! These new waste bins are equipped with receptacles for recycling, trash, and compost, designed to divert waste from landfills. Inspired by the successful downtown installations, these bins exemplify the Town's commitment to lowering greenhouse gas emissions while maintaining the allure of our public spaces. Stay tuned for more installations at Zelinsky Park and McKegney Field, as we continue our mission to enhance sustainability across Tiburon.

Marin County Rotary Day of Service

May 5th 9am - 12pm

10 Avenue of the Flags

The first Earth Day was over 50 years ago. Rotary clubs around our world have since worked hard to build awareness, inspire action, and plan service projects to protect our environment.

The Rotary clubs of Marin County have partnered with the Marin County Parks and the Marin County Landscaping District to plant 70 flowering plants in front of the Marin Center Exhibit Hall and Showcase Theater. This is an impactful location near the Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired Civic Center where many exhibits and the Marin County Fair are held each year.

Clipper START: Fare Discount Pilot Program

For most Bay Area households, transportation is the third-biggest monthly expense — trailing only the cost of housing and food.

Clipper START is a fare-discount pilot program for riders with lower incomes. Launched in 2020, the pilot program offers a 50% single-ride fare discount to eligible low-income adults for travel on most of the Bay Area’s transit agencies. The pilot has been extended through June 30, 2025.
