Pickleball for the Cure National Tournament

We are very excited to be hosting the first annual Susan G. Komen Pickleball for the Cure National Tournament at The Tennis & Pickleball Club at Newport Beach!

Susan G. Komen has gone "all in" on pickleball. They are launching a national effort to promote a new fundraising platform, centered around pickleball, and after much research chose Newport Beach as the site for the first National Tournament. We are honored to be part of this important effort to cure breast cancer in our lifetime.

Most of us have been affected by breast cancer, either personally or because of a friend or family member. Piper Vaughn is a fellow member who has chosen to share her personal story of diagnosis, treatment and the support she has received from her pickleball community here at TTC. Thank you, Piper!

This unique tournament has a $0 registration fee. Players are required to create a Facebook fundraising page and raise a minimum of $250 to support those that need help now and to fund the breakthroughs needed for tomorrow. All fundraising donations are tax deductible.

Players can register to play in one or two events (gender doubles and/or mixed doubles) with the same minimum fundraising requirement. That means you can play in two events for the price of one

Deadline to hit the minimum of $250 is September 30th, 2022.

Once you have completed your tournament registration, create your National Tournament Fundraiser.

• Click on REGISTER NOW
• Create your account by entering your name, email address and password.
• Optional: Personalize your fundraising page with a photo, fundraising goal and your story of why you are competing and raising funds to take breast cancer out of play.
• Make a self-donation to get your fundraising started and to inspire your network to support you.
• Use the convenient buttons at the bottom of the page to share your fundraiser on Facebook, Twitter, via text or email with friends and family. 
• For those not interested in fundraising, payment can be made by check or credit card (email pickleball@komen.org).
