Support the VOCA Bridge

$20M is needed to bridge cuts to VOCA programs to prevent a detrimental loss to essential crime victim services

Here's how you can help:

Please contact both your state representative and state senator and ask them to help secure the $20M needed to fully fund the VOCA Bridge. It's easy and here is how to help with 3 simple

steps.

Step 1: Find your state representative and state senator using this link:

Step 2: Contact them both either through email or phone.

Step 3: Urge both your representative and senator to support the passing of Bill H.4496, to ensure a $20M lifeline investment for victim services.

Federally, VOCA funding has been steadily decreasing since 2018 and is at a historical low. This will affect every city and town in Massachusetts.

Massachusetts Office for Victim Assistance (MOVA) and the entire victim services field here in Massachusetts are advocating for VOCA Bridge Funding in the state budget to mitigate significantly reduced federal funding to victim services through the Crime Victims Fund (CVF).
