The list includes 100 unique suppliers capable of filling a broad range of health and human service needs and is featured on the Rhode Island Commerce website .

Supplier spotlight: MAPA Translations
Since 2007, MAPA Translations, Inc. has focused on providing personalized and customizable services so that clients’ multilingual communication needs can be met to the fullest. Their three main language services divisions, written translation, interpreter services and multilingual voice-overs, are
enhanced by partnerships with local,
small businesses that provide audio and
video production services.

"We are grateful to SupplyRI for providing many opportunities for small, women-owned businesses like ours to meet and develop business relationships with individuals, organizations and companies that we can partner with by offering our expansive translation, interpretation and voice over services. We especially appreciated the opportunity to participate in a matchmaking event last year during which time we were able to pitch our business to several larger businesses and academic institutions in a very small and personable setting. The folks at SupplyRI really understand the importance of connection and do it right! Thank you!"

Resource partner of the month: SCORE Rhode Island
For almost 60 years, SCORE Rhode Island has been dedicated to helping and supporting our small business community. During these difficult times, that mission has never been so important. So in May, SCORE launched ReStart RI, an initiative that provides small business owners free, practical advice from experienced business practitioners on how to reopen their businesses and thrive. Experienced SCORE volunteers, who are experts across many fields and industries, have been working with hundreds of small businesses, providing one-on-one mentoring and delivering dozens of expert panel workshops designed to address today’s unique business challenges.

"Partners like SupplyRI are critical to the success of SCORE and the ReStart RI program. SupplyRI and their team work hard every day, alone and in collaboration with SCORE, to ensure that our business community has the information and resources they need,” notes SCORE Co-chair Rochelle Blease. "They strengthen business-to-business connections that have a direct, positive impact on Rhode Island’s economy.”
