Superintendent's Update

Good Afternoon BRSSD Community!

Compliments for a wonderful start to the school year! We are very proud of our staff who are working exceptionally hard to ensure a strong and smooth start for our students and for our families. And, thank you to our families who are at home supporting children with technology and assisting with the day-to-day routines allowing our teachers to connect with their students. Together we make a great team! We’ve put together a compilation of just some of the many photos that you shared with us. It made us smile and we hope you do as well. Enjoy!

Family Technical Assistance

If you have a technical question or issue related to your child's instruction we ask that you first communicate with your child's classroom teacher. If they are unable to provide guidance please contact athometechnical@brssd.org. In your email, please provide as much detail as possible; information such as your child's full name, school, and the nature of the issue will assist in helping you quickly. Issues related to District loaned technology should also be communicated to athometechnical@brssd.org.

Free or Reduced Lunch Program

A reminder that any family who falls in the table below is eligible to receive free meals from the District, delivered by PTA volunteers. If you are eligible, please see send in the application (available also in Spanish) by September 30 to rboatwright@brssd.org. Please visit our website for more information about our lunch program.

Lunch Delivery and Volunteering:

All BRSSD PTAs are working together on a program to help deliver meals to those who need it starting after Labor Day.

If you would like to order lunch but are not available to pick up the lunches on Mondays, please sign up here. A PTA volunteer will deliver the lunches to you with contactless delivery. You must still order lunch via LunchMasters separately from requesting a delivery.

If you would like to volunteer to help deliver lunches, please sign up here. The time commitment would be approximately 1 hour each Monday between 9:30am and 1:00pm, or every other Monday. Thank you for helping our Belmont-Redwood Shores families during this challenging time!
