The Sun Run was an absolute blast! We are just shy of making the $15k goal as of this morning...our goal is $25k and all donations will be set aside for the upper playground project! We will be inputting the cash/check donations as they come in so the site will be updated daily. All pledge envelopes are due back by Wed, Oct 11th!

I think this will be my last reminder about this survey about Reflex Math if you're the parent of a 1st- through 4th grader. We'll have to make decisions in the next month about that subscription, Lexia Core 5 Reading, both, or none. 

We'll be digging into our Fall assessments on Monday's PD day (in case you're wondering what we do then). Most of our trends are positive! This graph shows 2nd-4th graders steadily improving, on average, in reading scores, and the percentage of students who are "on watch" or recommended for intervention decreasing each year:

Are you interested in volunteering in the classroom, lunchroom or going on your child's school field trip? That's great! But first we do require a background check. Any caregiver wishing to volunteer must fill out the form listed below. Once completed please alert the school office. This form is good for 5 years!
