Happy Friday, Lancer Families!
As AP and IB testing continued, we also celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week on the Hills. Lancer teachers received some unexpected goodies each day of the week in the staff lounge culminating with an amazing PTSA spread of treats on Thursday. ASB then showed their appreciation for our outstanding teachers and staff with a lunch today! We love our teachers!
Lancer athletics continued their CIF competitions this week including several swimmers in CIF Division 2 Finals, the entire boy's golf team at the CIF Central Region Individual Tournament, and boy's tennis preparing for their CIF Individual Championship Tournament.

Senior Samantha Burgess completed her outstanding Lancer swim career impressively in the 100 & 200 freestyle finishing 6th & 10th overall respectively. Samantha was a 4x league champion in the 50 free and 3x in the 100 free!

Junior Mia Carley finished 7th overall in the 500 freestyle.

Junior Liam Weinreich broke a 30-year-old school record in the 100 breast & finished 7th overall in the 50 freestyle at CIF Division 2 Swim Finals.

The Girls 400 Relay Team of Eden Buell, Mia Carley, Eveline Grannis & Samantha Burgess finished 4th overall with a consideration time to qualify as alternates for CIF State.

The Boy's Golf Team will seek to defend their CIF Division 1 Title on Monday in Murrietta.

Golfers Troy Kwon & Caleb Kim both shot 2 under to qualify for the CIF Individual Championships next week in Temecula.

Tennis players Nevin McCann, the Freeway League MVP in Singles, and Calvin Yoo & Richard Lu, the Freeway League MVPs in Doubles compete in next week's tournament.

Finally, as we prepare for the 2024/25 school year, all junior, sophomore, and freshman parents must complete their annual mandatory Data Confirmation on Aeries. Parents complete this process by logging into their Aeries portal account to verify their emergency contact information and other authorizations. Beginning May 10, Aeries accounts will lock until this is completed. Click here for instructions.
