Happy Friday, Lancers!
What an amazing Open House week as we showcased the excellent academics, engaging activities, and extraordinary atmosphere that we have here on the Hills.
It was standing room only in the gym as prospective students and their families were able to see what being a Lancer was all about. I want to thank our ASB and Link Crew students for helping set up and welcome families that night. Also, I wanted to acknowledge our outstanding student panel of speakers who described their reasons for choosing SHHS as well as their positive experiences here as well - Elizabeth Belloso, Kayla Taylor, Maya Orton, Cameron Kim, Matthew Barta, Ethan Tam, and Grant Rabe. Finally, thank you to all of our Lancer teachers, coaches, and staff for their enthusiasm for SHHS and for helping make it the best place to learn for our Lancers!
This last week also saw our Lancer Athletic Teams have a very successful week on the court, in the pool, and on the fields:
-
Boys Basketball defeated Troy last Friday night in front of a packed house and followed that up with a resounding win over Fullerton.
-
Girls Basketball solidified their hold on 2nd place in league with wins over Troy, Sonora, and Fullerton as Senior Erin Choi joined the exclusive 1000-point club for her career!
-
Boys Soccer stayed undefeated in league play with convincing wins over Sonora and Fullerton. They take on La Habra today.
-
Girls Soccer earned a great OT win over Sonora and followed it up by sweeping Fullerton on the year.
-

As always, scroll down below for more highlights, reminders, guidance news, and other information.
