For a beautiful trek in West Baton Rouge and along the Mississippi River, check out the West Baton Rouge Heritage Trailway, including the DeSoto Levee Top Trail. This 5-mile paved walking or biking path from Brusly to Addis offers scenic views and a peaceful escape.
