"Make movies (and hay) while the sun shines!" as they say, and movies we've been making at JAM this summer. On top of our full production slate covering local meetings, Osher lectures, cultural events, and more, the JAM crew has led six weeks of media arts camps for grades 4-12. Media education for all ages is core to JAM's mission, and this summer's creativity has been bountiful.
Part of a healthy media diet, however, is limiting screen time, so for the month of August JAM encourages you to un-mediate. Leave the devices behind and enjoy time in nature and with loved ones! We will help you by taking August off from JAM newsletters. JAM will also have limited office hours; please visit uvjam.org for details and updates. But before we sign off, enjoy highlights of the fruits of the Upper Valley's creative labors below, join us for an album release party from two rising stars in local music at JAM for First Friday, Aug. 2 at 6:30, FREE and open to all. Then we welcome all members of the public to the JAM Annual Meeting Wednesday, August 14 at 5:30pm. RSVP to: info@uvjam.org
