Pick up a passport at the Circulation Desk and gather stamps from CLAMS member libraries across the Cape and Islands! Addresses for all 38 CLAMS libraries are listed in the passport.


BFL patrons will win prizes for collecting 5 and 10+ stamps from CLAMS libraries, including BFL magnets or keychains and coupons to the Friends of BFL Bookstore!

Youth Programs

Summer Reading!


The Brooks Free Library Summer Reading Program is underway! Every time a student reads for 2.5 hours, they can earn a free book and small prize. Sign up online or by coming in to the library!

Indoor & Outdoor Storytime


Join us every Tuesday at the Brooks Free Library and Thursday at the Brooks Park gazebo for a fun Story Time at 10:30! We will sing songs, play with scarves, read books and have a great time! This program is designed for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, but all ages are welcome. No registration required!

Middle School Food & Fun


Every Tuesday at 2:30 this summer is a Food and Fun program for grades 5 and above! We'll make a tasty snack and then have fun with board games or crafts. If you have a food restriction, please email Ann at acarpenter@clamsnet.org

Visual Storytelling


Students in grades 5 and above are invited to our Visual Storytelling workshop! Every Wednesday at 3:00 we'll explore new aspects of visual storytelling through mediums such as graphic novels, art journaling, zines and more!

Lego Day!


Every Wednesday at the Brooks Free Library we will bring out our bins and bins filled with Lego blocks for free play all day
