Thank you for your continuous service to our community here in the City of South Fulton. We not only value your business and leadership, but we especially value your investment in developing our workforce.
Do you remember your first job? Who hired you? And what impact did they make on your life?
It is time to offer that same opportunity to a teen in your neighborhood.
Councilwoman Helen Z. Willis and Fulton County Commissioner Marvin Arrington, Jr. invite you to participate in the 4th annual Summer Teen Hiring Fair! Our high school-aged teenagers are looking to obtain their first job or land an internship in a field of their interest. Last year, over 150 youth in attendance were seeking employment positions for the summer. This year, we hope to make it an even bigger and better event, but we can only do this with the help of our metro Atlanta business community.
We also ask you to help us… 1.) Help spread the word about this event to youth and teenagers seeking employment. We are hoping to have over 20 employers present for our youth. 2.) Extend an offer (or two) to a needy teenager –even if it’s a volunteering or internship opportunity. Any work experience is valued in today’s job market. 3.) Come, network with local business owners, and have fun! There will be food, music, workshops for the youth, and so much more!
