Are you a fan of the art of storytelling? Do you want to be a part of a community that celebrates the oral storytelling tradition? Look no further than Let Me Tell Ya! We are a group of enthusiastic storytellers who gather virtually twice a month to share our stories and provide feedback in a safe and supportive environment.

Our storytelling guild meets on the second Tuesday of every month, where we share stories that are in development and provide constructive feedback. We focus on three key points: What did we like, where did we get hung up, and what did we want more of? This allows us to hone our storytelling skills and become better storytellers. We have a story swap based on a theme on the fourth Tuesday of every month. We encourage family-friendly stories to be five to seven minutes long for equity of voice. This is a great opportunity to share your stories and hear the stories of others.

All of our events are free, and we invite you to RSVP and receive a Zoom invite by visiting www.StorytellingConnections.com or the Let Me Tell Ya Facebook page. Join us and become a part of a community that celebrates the art of storytelling!

Upcoming Events:

Story Swap - Tuesday, June 11, 7:00pm to 8:30 pm

Stories of Fathers and Sons - Tuesday, June 25, 2024, 7:00pm

On June 29th, 2024, Better Said Than Done will be playing at Clare and Don’s Beach Shack in Falls Church, VA, for “It’s All Fun and Games,” with Emcee Nick Baskerville and storytellers J.R. Denson, Bonnie Gardner, Amanda Lawrence, Jeanna Lee, Joan Leotta, Jamie Mcelhatton, and Sarah Snyder.
