Dear Paul, Starting in June and continuing through July, we are excited to launch a special sermon series focused on our congregation's mission statement: "St. Gregory's Church invites people to see God's image in all humankind, to sing and dance to Jesus' lead, and to become God's friends."
Each week, our sermons will begin with the reading of this mission statement, and our various preachers will tie it into their sermons, inviting us to explore how our congregation's mission statement relates to the Gospel and our daily lives.
Join us as we journey together to see God's image in every person, embrace the joy of following Jesus, and deepen our friendship with God. This series promises to be a time of growth, inspiration, and communal exploration!
Peace,
Peter

"The one thing truly worthwhile in our journey of faith is the profound and sacred act of becoming God’s friend. This journey of friendship with the divine transcends all boundaries and divisions, uniting us in a shared purpose of love, compassion, and service. As we strive to deepen our connection with God and each other, we embody the essence of true discipleship and spiritual growth. May we embrace this sacred calling with open hearts and minds, knowing that in becoming God’s friends, we are truly fulfilling our highest purpose and potential as beloved children of God."
