Tonight WMNR's Gary Fountain is your host for music from the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival. Each Monday at 6:00 pm join Gary for performances from two regional venues. Beginning tonight, July 1st, tune in for performances from Norfolk, which is the summer home of the Yale School of Music in Norfolk, CT. Later in the season Gary will add recordings from the Chestnut Hill Concerts series, based in Guilford, CT.


Be sure to join Bob Anderson for Fine Arts Forum on July 7th at 8:00 pm when his guest is Norfolk Chamber Music Festival Director Melvin Chen. Other guests this month include Barbara von Bechtolsheim, Director of the Hugo Kauder Society, Carl Andress, Artistic Director of the Sharon Playhouse, and Paul Frucht, Artistic Director of the Charles Ives Music Festival.


On July 5th, broadcaster Gary Gerard returns as your local host, each Friday night at 6:00 pm, for Summer Weekend Preview before the live Tanglewood Music Festival concert broadcast season begins at 8:00 pm. We're also pleased to air the Saturday night (8:00 pm) and Sunday matinee (2:30 pm) Tanglewood shows.


Will Duchon and H. William Stine will be on hiatus until the fall, but you can keep an eye on their blogs Stay Close to the Music and Turntable For One for announcements of their early autumn returns.
