Barket, Klein Win Settlement for Family of Man Who Died at MCC

In June, partners Bruce Barket and Alexander Klein secured a small measure of justice in the form of a financial settlement for the family of Tony McClam, who was incarcerated and awaiting trial at the notorious Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) in Manhattan in 2020, when he died after a heart attack, but was not given any medical assistance as he was not found until long after his unfortunate death.

Aldea Earns Reversal for Cornell Student

John LoTurco Presents Oral Advocacy Scholarship

John LoTurco presented the second annual LoTurco-Palacios Oral Advocacy Scholarship to Huntington High School seniors Catherine Estrada-Morales and Reese Rinaldi on June 11. He presented each recipient with a scholarship check for $1,500 on behalf of himself and his long-time mock trial co-advisor, Xavier Palacios.
