HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WITH PCA ILLINOIS?:
Starting my 5th year.
WHY DID YOU GET INVOLVED?:
As a childhood sexual abuse survivor, it is one aspect of my own healing journey to help promote on going cultures of safe environment wherever children are, which can prevent child abuse throughout Illinois. The hard work by PCA Illinois staff and Board inspires me and fills me with hope that all children can be protected from abuse and neglect.
WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO ACCOMPLISH IN YOUR TIME AS BOARD PRESIDENT?:
As president of the Board, I hope to provide a tone of welcome of all who wish to offer their time, or talents or treasure in the on-going efforts to protect all children from harm and to encourage and foster healthy families.
