Happy Birthday to our Awesome Leader Denise Bramlitt!

Denise has been a cherished resident and business owner at Bramlitt's, Inc. in Putnam County for over 45 years. Throughout this time, she has consistently invested in the community through various volunteer roles. Upon discovering that over 800 school-age children in the area faced food insecurity on weekends, Denise founded the non-profit organization Feed the Need of Putnam County. Her mission was to mend this issue and instill hope in young underprivileged children in the region.

For the past decade, Denise has dedicated herself to Feed the Need, seeing it as a divine blessing to be able to contribute to her community. Her deep love for Putnam County stems from it being her hometown. While it may be a small town, its proximity to larger towns adds to its charm and potential.

In her personal life, Denise enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, boating, visiting the beach, engaging in crafts, and thrift shopping. She has a strong belief in the potential and unique gifts of Putnam County and continues to be an ardent supporter and advocate for her community. Happy Birthday Denise! Thank you for ALL you do!

Happy Birthday to our volunteer Darlene Cason!

June 15

We would like to wish a very happy birthday to FTN volunteer Darlene Cason! Darlene has been volunteering with Feed the Need for about two years. She dedicates her time because she believes in FTN's mission to support food-insecure children and admires the dedication Denise puts into the cause.

Darlene appreciates the close-knit community of Putnam County, which she felt was an great place to raise her children. In her free time, she enjoys sewing, crocheting, spending time outdoors, and gardening.

Darlene is the proud mother of two grown children and has four grandchildren. She shares her birthday with her second grandson, who turned 20 this year. Her grandchildren are 23, 20, 6, and 3 years old. Happy birthday, Darlene! We appreciate you!
