The Arc of Ohio Facebook Groups for Families
With an ever changing system, staying informed is crucial. We hope this group will help families identify the resources they need to remain educated and up to date on the services that impact their lives.

This g roup is for Ohio f amilies of all ages and disabilities to share information and resources regarding Ohio's HCBS Waivers to better advocate on behalf of people with I/DD.

We hope this group will help families identify the public policy issues they need to know in order to remain educated and up to date on the services that impact their lives as well as provide feedback on those policies.
Our Statewide Services for Families

For over 60 years, The Arc of Ohio has promoted and protected the rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by advocating on a broad range of issues that affect their lives. We are proud to continue those same advocacy services today for people with I/DD, family members, friends, co-workers and all who provide services and support throughout Ohio.

The Arc of Ohio is specialized in the provision of electronic equipment, such as iPads, tablets, specialized keyboards, touch screens, software and much more through the Assistive Technology Program (ATP).

The Arc of Ohio is a certified provider of Assistive Technology through the following waivers in Ohio:
  • Level 1
  • Individual Options (IO)
  • SELF
Due to the generosity of   The Ohio Knights of Columbus Foundation  and  Sage Sustainable Electronics , The Arc of Ohio is able to provide Assistive Technology at very competitive prices.

ATP@TheArcofOhio.org

The Arc of Ohio created the FCP to bridge the gap in services that some  people with I/DD and families have been experiencing through the Level 1, SELF and IO Waivers.

Services available through FCP:
HPC, Transportation and Shared Living.

The FCP is based on the philosophy of self-determination and empowers people to enhance the quality of their lives by providing them with the opportunity for choice and control over their services and supports and by acknowledging that they are the best judges of their own needs and how those needs should be met.
